Hey guys it's 5:33 am in Bangkok and just wanted to let everyone know about why it hasn't been going so smooth update wise lately. In order to get anything off the camera I need to install software on the computer downstairs however it only installs in Thai so shortly after its finished I can't really do anything and we don't have enough time for Jeff our guide to sit with me for an hour each day just translating. And from the iPad I can only upload video, that being said I will have to use the iPhone like I said earlier. Anyway recapping yesterday, we went to Vacation bible school for the first time and the kids are pretty cool. We played games and stuff yesterday and for the most part were well behaved co considering the language barrier. Afterwards we went to the nightlight base and got a tour and were able to talk to Annie and all I can say is WOW, I would not have believed the stuff she told us unless I was there. After what the have told us which I'm sure is just a sneak peek the entire team is already noticing purchases left and right, I saw about a 70+ older man standing within an inch and whispering to a girl younger than me!! It's disgusting, the other day Jeff gave us a statistic that the $ that is spent on the sex industry is equal to 90% of the governments budget for Bangkok, think about that that budget for a 13 million population city almost equalled? He also stated that when you add in trafficking it goes beyond 100%, and it is just stupid to think that the gov. Is not in on it. I asked him bluntly, did the sex trade industry build Bangkok and he said if you look at it as a whole then yes. You've got the Chinese mafia the Uzbekistan mafia you've got the Russian mafia and with all of these people running everything from prostitutes to the beggars to the business to even tourist spots. I am still in shock with all of it really. I won't even talk about the spiritual attacks and battles Jeff and Annie have bad I will just say that Annie could put out a series of movies that would top the exorcist and all others like it hands down, no doubt in my mind. She really needs to write a book or something lol. Anyway I could write for days about the stories I've heard and what has happened in the first couple days, o ya I woke up this morning feeling great lol I think I was just dehydrated and appreciate all the prayers.
